Caption:	Guarding Elk Calf Kill on Yellowstone River
Notes:	755M and two other wolves were seen taking down an elk calf on the far shore of the Yellowstone River. By the time I arrived the other two wolves had left. 755M at this point had climbed up the bank and was resting in the evergreens but was still very vigilant in keeping the ravens off his kill. It was very kind of him to pose so elegantly at the top of this deadfall. I doubt the rangers felt the same way. The traffic jam he created was probably over two miles long.
