Notes:	Hard to put to words what we witnessed--the greatest wildlife drama we've ever seen! We came to YNP to see wildlife, especially wolves and we did! We saw 8 of the Wapiti Lake pack members, including the alpha female and male. One of the collared wolves split from the pack and pursued a lone elk. Chased all the way to the road from the ridge top--the elk got away. We returned the next day to the same spot, but didn't see any signs of a kill (I have images of the wolf making contact with one of the hind legs of the elk).
