Caption:	Wapiti Lake Pack Hunting Elk on the Madison River
Notes:	We found the WLP hunting two bull elk above the Madison River just West of 7 mile bridge. 9 members can be seen here (although at times you could see 10) and another 6 members were running down the road. Two of which were seen coming back around and heading up onto the hunt. Both elk appeared to have some injuries from a previous encounter but both stood their ground and did not run. The wolves had pack members stationed above and to both sides and howled at the elk and had pack members push close but they still would not budge. Finally they gave up the hunt after about 2.5 hours.
